'07 Taco 6m/70cm mount (inside & out)

So I have my '07 Tacoma TRD Offroad, just got my AT Horizon trailer wings, and just got an FT-8800R, but can't figure what the best place is for the antenna (Larsen NMO 2/70B) or the radio (face)...

Where are others installing these in newer Tacomas? I've seen the front mount for the antenna off the hood, but I'm not sure about that. What about behind the cab (it's an access cab)? I can run a ground strap if needed, so I was thinking about right behind the cab on the passenger side with an adhesive mount.

Any other ideas?

Before you answer the obvious, you should drill into the top of the cab, mount your NMO. No better answer.

The 8800 isn't 6m is it?
