Tactical Notebook Covers Binders

I can honestly say, in tens of thousands of miles of camping trips, other than making a grocery list, I have never needed a notepad. Why?!

You don't make notes to yourself other than grocery lists? I always have a small notepad in the truck so that I can write down thoughts, ideas, things I suddenly remember that I need to remind myself of later such as "remember to put another fuel cylinder (Jetboil stove) in the truck", sometimes I hear a song on the radio and I want to check out the band's other stuff, map coordinates, etc. I carry a Rite in the Rain and a compact "space pen" in my pack.

Or, for everyone who carries a smartphone (all of you, right?), just use the note app. Now, if you need to leave a physical note for someone, that's different. I do keep a Rite in the Rain pad in my vehicle, just in case I need to leave a physical note.

Not all of us carry a smartphone; hell, I don't always carry my phone for that matter. ;) Honestly, I think folks are way too dependent on technology, especially when a pen and piece of paper is a lot simpler. Besides, I like the physical act of holding a pad or notebook in my hand and writing. I have no problem admitting to being a bit of a Luddite though.

I always have a notebook and sharpies in the car to make or leave a note.
I think the notebook was less than a $1.00.
I’ve never needed anything that makes it waterproof.....I’ll just use it while in the vehcile if it is raining.
I do own a couple of the fancy blue ridge overland gear cases for my atlases.....cause I like to take care of stuff and they do a good job of that. I leave the cases in the vehicle....https://www.blueridgeoverlandgear.com/Map-Pouch-Laptop-Sleeve-Black-p/21tms.htm

I've got random scraps of paper in the console: receipts, bank deposit slips, etc. That works just fine for the stuff you're talking about. or my phone, as said above.

No. I don't need a full size note pad in a trapper keeper. I'm not taking notes in a college class. I'm on vacation.

Some of you guys need to realize that you're not on some critical expedition to find the last undiscovered Starbucks in the Sahara. You're on vacation. Just loosen up and have fun. (this isn't directed at you, Robert. just a general comment.)
