Taxa Cricket Mod update.

Hello everyone, I wanted to share the outcome from installing a Timbren Suspension on my 2015 Taxa Cricket. A friend of mine did the install. He builds and modifies car chassis as a side gig so I thought it would be best to let him take the lead. At the end of the day the Cricket as a 3500lbs suspension and around 3 inches of lift. Let me know your thoughts.

I did the switch because I’m taking the trailer to Baja Mexico later this year and I wanted something more beefy. As far as the ride goes, idk yet. I have had the opportunity to pull it anywhere yet.

Pulled the trailer about half an hour don’t the road last Friday for a quick overnight to test the ride and see how it pulled. I have to say it did well. No issues with sway and the suspension did fine. Having said that, I wouldn’t consider it a great test as it was almost completely paved roads.

The brakes are side specific . Left and right. the wires going to the front shows the brakes are installed on the wrong side.

There are two easy ways to determine if your brakes were installed on the wrong side.
The electric wires should be exiting the assembly to the rear.

Thank you for the info, you were exactly right. They were on the correct side but they were turned on their side. I turned them where they are oriented the correct way.
