I suppose I should put a list of modifications?
AHU VW TDi
GT1856 Turbo
2.5" Intercooler piping
2.5'' Exhuast
Malone Tune
RCV CV axles
Tundra Rear end
4:88 Gears
ARB Lockers Front and Rear
Total Chaos Lt Kit in the front
Total Chaos Rear LT kit with 2.0 Fox shocks and Air Bumps
Custom rear bumper
Trail Gear Front Bumper
Custom Skidplate
Rocksliders
5 Speed Swap
Baja Designs Lights
Recaro Seats
Air Conditioning
Cruise Control
Theres a ton im sure im forgetting but I will add as I remember... I built most of the stuff myself minus the third members in the diffs, so if you have any questions Id be glad to answer them. The truck gets around 30MPG with the RTT setup and is faster than the V6 i took out of it. With this setup the engine should produce around 350tq and 160HP. I built it to take long trips and have fun doing some rock crawling as well as high speed desert runs.... The Truck is constantly changing so ill update it as it does.

Good shot of Baja. You should get waay better fuel economy. Did A/C make it?
Yea it has AC, 30 is about the best I can do with the gearing/tire size, setup etc, I could* get 35 MPG around town with the RTT on if I dont drive like it makes 24psi of boost, but theres no fun in that. Typically ive been seeing 25MPG fully loaded but that was over the last two years with a hurt engine; which has recently been replaced... A story in its own...With all that said Id be glad to stay in the 30 MPG range while loaded for trips but I need to put more miles on this trusted engine to be able to get a good idea of what MPGs I can really achieve; the numbers I posted above were just what I was getting with the hurt engine (spun crank thrust washer, and broken oil control ring on piston #1, but ran great..?)

Information on your accessory drive? I see a Toyota power steering pump. Are all the accessories Toyota? Custom brackets? Engine to transmission adapter? Motor mounts?

I got a 1999 4runner and an alh i’ve been contemplating doing this swap with. More information would be awesome.

I used a “kit” from a guy in Canada that did a mediocre job at best. It allowed me to use the Toyota accessories. So Toyota alternator, ac compressor, and power steering. It combines the engine mounts with the accessory mounts and if I were to do it again I would leave the VW accessories and make my own mounts...

That's sweet! Nothing quite like a tuned TDI, wish I hadn't bought one last year with a DSG in it though - seems VW still can't build a reliable auto trans

I forgot to mention I used a doomsday diesel adapter plate to my r150 trans. Using a factory Toyota v6 clutch. I adapted the wiring harnesses to run the Tacoma’s instrument cluster, as well as the factory Toyota cruise Control works with the VW ecu. The motor mounts themselves are factory v6 Toyota with new mounts on the chassis to make the Canadian guys “kit” work. There are people out there however that have left the factory frame mounts and made it work.

You should be seeing more than that, a stock ALH with a stage 1 malone tune will hit 25 pretty easily.
Thats what I asked the tuner to hold the boost at.... I have other tunes that make 26psi but Id like to try and make this combo last.
