I have been studying for a few weeks to get my technicians license. I got a UV-5R plus and have been enjoying listening for a couple of days now. I am ready to start transmitting. I cannot find any information on any testing for my area, even on ARRl site. The only place I have found is a local club, IEARC, and they will not have any testing until February. I live in Claremont California. Is there any any other place that lists examination days?

There will be a testing session in Redondo Beach, CA on Sat the 29th. I can give you more info if you are interested. Or you can check the ARRL website for more testing locations and times based on your zip.
EDIT: I see that you can't find one near you. Try searching for cities in your surrounding area.
EDIT 2: Try searching for State: CA and ARRL Section: Orange or Los Angeles
