Tell me about shore power and converter chargers.

I have the same fridge, and NOCO Gen 1

When we camp w power hook up the NOCO maintains the batteries the voltage and input amps varies on load and when fully charged goes into stand by mode. Also went w their external plug.

Looks good, but I'd re-wire that extension plug to snug the insulation up, if it were me!

No issues, fridge pulls less juice than NOCO puts in so works great. Everything we have is 12V power so it maintains well. We have the CF55 fridge if that helps. Basically it maintains the batteries at home and when camping w power available. When camping w no “shore power” and drain the batteries I use a 15amp charger at home to recharge them. Then plug the NOCO back in to maintain them.

Agree.....Shore power plugs are a leading cause of fires just like propane tanks stored in enclosed spaces are a leading cause of explosions...we see 1-2 a year here that go off that people have in their car.
