:smileeek: Sorry about the garage shots, but we won't be going up the Sierras till the 1st week of October and I wanted to give a progress report

The tent installation is done with security and strength along with the FLY that COMPLETELY covers it+ 1 ft

Looks good.
I thought the Tentrax came with their own tents?
So you switched it out for one of the air framed ones?

:smileeek: Yea, you can order the TENT assy, as an option, ($1495)

But, when I was investigating the bigger AirZone (OSPREY), 4-person tent 9'x7'

I noticed the (GOLDFINCH), 2-person tent, 5'x8', which is exactly the floorpan of the TENTRAX when the top is opened and happened to be a close match Yellow, like my X and trailer

I figured, since I hadn't got that option, when I ordered the trailer, last years summer, it would be kinda neat to adapt it for use on the TENTRAX and Lo and Behold, it works perfect

The tent option with the TENTRAX is kinda cumbersome and takes all the space that otherwise exists inside the cover (about 20 sq ft) so I didn't want it, now I still have most of the area, available

Ahhh, I see.

I was on the air tents site about a week back, those are pretty cool.
I see the military is looking at them too.

When you're done with them, you just unscrew the pressure vlv (22psi safety) and it collapses in 20/30 seconds, then you can just STUFF it in its bag, (can't do that with any other tent)

Course my trailer tent, stays inside the trailer cover and I can use it or not

The tent (any size) has (really) no moving parts, you just blow it up and unblow (?) it down--freaky
