Tentrax tent quality/livability

Hi guys

Long time lurker, first time poster here.

I'm now on the market scouting for a small and relatively lightweight off road camping trailer/gear hauler for my 2dr Wrangler JK.

Tentrax trailers have been on my radar for years, but I have never had a chance to see one in person.

So the question is: how good/bad included tent is? Is it in the same league as traditional RTTs such as Tepui?
How thick is material? Does it flap in the wind (on most pictures I saw the tent fabric doesn't look really tight)? Are there any known problems at all with these trailers and tents?

Thanks!

Sorry can't vouch for any comparison to RTT material as I have never had a RTT, but I can say that I am very satisfied with the tent material used, as well as the rain fly. I don't experience any more flapping than compared to any other ground tent I have used (not including the 2 canvas ones I had - that's a different league). In fact I am very satisfied with everything about my Tentrax. Recently pulled it over the Rubicon with not a single issue. Only thing I have been told to watch for is not letting any tent material be stowed between the metal frames when stowed as it my wear a hole by rubbing. Simple enuf to ensure the material is not in the wrong spot while stowing. I will be at Overland Expo West, if you're there I invite you to contact me via PM and we can setup a review.

@bluejeep Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I cannot make it to the Overland Expo West, but thanks for the invite!

Wind flapping was one of my biggest concerns since most of our camping is in Death Valley, Mojave and Eastern Sierra. Glad to hear this is not an issue.

Also, how heavy is the trailer and what is the real life tongue weight?
Is it easy to roll around by hand (assuming its not loaded to the brim with the heavy stuff, just some typical camping gear)?

I'm going to estimate total weight loaded up for a 5 day trip would be 800 for trailer/tires alone, 75 lbs water, 40 lbs gas, 300 lbs equipment (small winch, screen room, cloths, portable toilet, 2 folding chairs, 2 bamboo tables, portable hot shower, vintage coleman 2 burner and lantern and catalytic heater, 2 goalzero briefcase solar panels, yeti 400 battery, small propane tank, wolfbox w/kitchen stuff) which comes to approx. 1200 lbs total. tongue is maybe < 100 lbs. I added a dual wheel tongue jack and push it around easy myself, unless its in soft sand. tracks on the road nicely
