Few questions:

(1) Where are these bag made?
(2) What type of warranty do they come with?
(3) from the looks of the zippers, I assume they do not keep water out in any way?

I see at the bottom they are claimed to be water resistant, would it be suitable for keeping in the bed of a pickup?

Cool bags. Definitely a great idea to get some branded Tepui merchandise out there. My wife looks hot in her Tepui tank top. :)

And I just ordered the tool bag. Thanks...

You can definitely use these in the bed of a truck. I had my own Tepui Duffle in the bed of my Tacoma for a 1.5 hr drive through heavy rain and everything stayed dry. I just got back home today from helping with a desert race team that raced in the Best in the Desert - Vegas to Reno race and had my Tepui duffle in the bed of our chase truck. Handled it all just fine with the dust etc and nothing infiltrated the bag.

These bags are very durable and after several weeks of use now I am personally very confident in the quality and the water resistence. They are not designed to be a "dry bag" and used for white water rafting etc, but as a gear bag for an offroad truck I am really liking it and have no problems leaving it in the bed of the truck in the elements.

Wow... the tool bag I ordered showed up today. Again with the wow, it's a very nice bag! It's definitely a bag that could be left out in the rain at a camp site as I can see it being water resistant.

It's got rubber feet on the bottom and handles on three sides.

It has lots of inside pockets. The inside material that is used should be easy to clean out as needed.

The front and back sides of the bag, including the front of the large inside pocket are all padded so that they could old something fragile inside, like electronics, as my 13" MacBook Pro fits nicely inside the large pocket. This pocket also has velcro including an adjustable divider.

I was originally thinking of this being my Jeep's tool bag, but it's too nice for just storing wrenches and my winch tools (unless I was constantly working on my Jeep lol). I'm going to have to rethink what in my trailer can go in here that's commonly used for camping, or stuff that needs to end up in my Tepui RTT at night? It's more like a super cool outdoor briefcase. Very nice job Tepui and I love well made stuff like this. Now I want more.

This past week at CruiserFest gave me another chance to test out the new Tepui Expedition Series Gear Bags. I can't tell you how impressed I am with how these bags handle dirt and dust. I drove almost 800 miles during CruiserFest on some of the most dusty roads in Utah's west desert. The roads were covered in fine powdery silt. If you've ever driven in silt you know it gets into EVERYTHING! Everything in the bed of my truck and in my trailer was covered in a thick layer of dust. This photo is only about 30% of the amount of dust that covered this bag during the trip. I had no idea how good these bags would be and others in our group were surprised as well that absolutely NO dust made it into the bags. One of the guys in our group who is a dealer of Front Runner products had tons of gear stored in Wolfpack containers that were all wrapped in a tarp in his trailer. The containers held lots of Front Runner products that he planned to display during the vendor show at the event. He did all he could to keep dust out of his containers. All of his containers had dust in them when we got off the trails. Not so with the Tepui bags. I didn't have a single speck of dust in any of the 4 bags that I had with my on the trail and all of them were carried in my open truck bed or in my open trailer. These may not be the cheapest gear bags, but it's a case of getting what you pay for. I've now had these bags in torrential rain and nothing got wet, and hundreds of miles of choking silt and no dust on any of my gear inside the bags! These are much better than I thought they would be. Let me know if you want to get some for yourself and I'll get you a great price!

I continue to impressed by these gear bags. They have been holding up to everything I throw at them. I used my Tepui duffle for a week in Baja while I was chasing for the Baja 1000. The bag lived in the bed of a truck for the week and was constantly chucked around and was dragged in the dirt at pit locations and campsite. These bags have become my go-to bags for all of my outdoor adventures because I know they'll hold up to anything.

If you're interested in getting any of these bags for yourself, please contact me and I can make you a great deal.

Been getting a lot of questions about dimensions of the bags. Here's some details
I've got a bunch of pics of my Tepui Gear bags with measurements and dimensions. Let's start with the large Gear Container. It's 36" in the longest dimension.

.

.
And about 18" in the width

.

.
Opened up. It has two durable plastic dividers that can be moved anywhere along the length of the bag. And a buckled strap to keep it from spreading out once its loaded. The water resistent liner can be zipped out and cleaned.

.

.

.

.

.
zipper mesh pockets in the cover for other stuff. You can also see that it's a fully insulated bag

.
the bottom has another grab handle, and a scuff rail.

.
The back(bottom) shows the quality roller wheels and two more scuff rails

Now the Duffle. I LOVE this bag! It has been getting a ton of use and abuse and it is standing up to everything I throw at it.

.
Approx 30" long with grab handles on both ends.

.

.
Approx 16" wide. Pair of straps that velcro together for the carry handle. Also has a shoulder strap with buckles that can be clipped to any of the corners to allow for whichever configuration is easiest to use.

.

.
Large open compartment with zippered pockets in the cover for extra gear.

.
Approx 12" deep

.

.
Durable heavy canvas bottom panel with scuff pads.

.
Buckled straps on the outside to strap other gear to the outside of the bag. There is also mesh pockets on the ends and a "bungie" net along one side for other gear.

These have definitely become my favorite gear bags. They are incredibly durable and surprisingly weather proof. They probably aren't a bag to fully submerge in a lake but I've had mine in the back of my truck for 2+ hours in torrential rain and not a drop made it inside the bags. The other thing that impressed me even more was that they seem to be impervious to dust. During CruiserFest this past September I had them in my open trailer or in the bed of my truck and we were on 500+ miles of seriously dusty trails. The bags got so dusty on the outside I couldn't tell what color they were anymore. Not a spec of dust was in the bags when I opened them up at camp. The big Gear Containers are perfect for a roofrack and their size and dimensions make them perfect for packing several of them side by side on a rack.
.
They are not cheap bags but after several months of use now, they are worth every penny of the cost. I'm looking to add another duffle and another gear container to my stash.
