My son and I do a lot of hiking here in WA state, but last summer we tried camping in a truck bed tent before a hike, and it really opened up the state for adventure opportunities. This year, I bit the bullet and got the rack and this tent, and I'm planning on doing a long-term review series on it.

TLDW: I can't imagine it being much more sleek and compact than this. It's light, sturdy, and true to its purpose. Its 84" length is about the limit for a 6'2" adult, but still doable. Anyone taller should look for something roomier.

Overnighter in Tahoma State Forest. The tent did great in the rain (although the rain caused me to wuss out on a hike).
