I will be starting a build thread soon, but I just HAVE to get this up here! Long story short, as soon as I got home from Afghanistan I started looking at landcruisers. I have always wanted one, but could never justify it. Well the Saturday after thanksgiving, I sold my tacoma and put things in motion to buy an 80 that I had been looking at. Yesterday I got up at 0300, flew from San Diego to Los Angeles, and then on to Sacramento. Jeff, the seller picked me up in my soon to be 80. As soon as I saw him driving towards me, I knew that I had found my dream vehicle. We finalized the deal and then I started my looong trek back to San Diego, but I loved every minute of it. So here are some pictures for now, there will be more to come in the future!

I scored two brand new 315 70 17 BFG's on h2 wheels. I plan on selling the wheels.
Seating for days!! Why buy a mini van when you can cruise around in style with seating for 7?!
And of course I threw my camping box in there (contents; two sleeping bags, tent, queen size air mattress, pump, tow chain ect.)
So that's ol girl for now. I am thinking of putting a vanity plate on it, maybe 2XPLORE?
