Adding some up dates to the Jeep.
I painted the top of the hard top White this fall to help with in cab heat. Also I got an AEV heat reduction hood. Since I now have the new hood I no longer wanted to keep my shovel and Ax on the hood bracket. I modified it a bet and moved it to the tire carrier.

How did you prep your top, and what did toy use? I was hesitant to paint on a brand new Jeep. I covered mine with white contact paper, I was suprised it lasted all summer. Then again I am not much for washing and it rarely rains here.

It wasn't to hard. I used sand paper that I had to scuff it up. Then I just used some Valspar Out door pain in satin white. I used a roller to apply the paint I think it came out really good.

I think this summer how ever I am going to have the hole top painted bright white to match the jeep.

Walmart sells a $20 window gun rack for pick ups. It fits perfectly in one of the side windows on the hard top and securely holds 4 piece fly rods out of the way.

NICE! I have a 4pc and a 2pc Pygmy, may have to try this out.

Well its been Along time since I put in an up date so I thought I would put one in. I just got my 4.10 gears delivered yesterday. Now I'm working some trade on labor with a friend to install them once I get my front and rear Eaton Lockers in.

This winter I installed an Spod and AEV seat covers in color saddle. I will post up new photos soon.

No i dont have any real conection to the Fly tour. My buddy is one of the owners for a local jeep shop and he helps sponcer bringing the fly tour to Austin. I was makeing them so posters to have out at last years show.

The cool thing about the film tour is that normal fly fishers like you and I can or could be featured.
