Thanks Nate. I was napping under the tree, and liked how the sun kept poking through every few seconds, along with all the grades in leaf tones. That was taken with a 5dm2 and a 100mm macro lens actually (no UV filter/polarizer), which is what I had next to me. :)

Thanks. I noticed that when I posted it, but I'm not sure exactly how to do it. I'll toy around with it and see what I can do.

I am actually digging the road through the forest shot #4. I personally would have liked to see more shadow to create depth but all in all it is a very interesting image.

They're all un-touched. I took them with my Panasonic Lumix ZS3 in B&W mode. It was my first time to really mess with the camera very much. I'm very pleased with the results so far.

I don't really know much about B&W processing. Here are a few that I have tried:

Lensatic Cloud over Dead Horse Mountains, Big Bend National Park, Texas

Willow Mountain and bentonite dunes near Study Butte, Texas

Terraces at Mammoth Springs - Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Orange Spring Mound - Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Castle Geyser - Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Kevin, I think the geyser and Willow Mtn photos are terrific, particularly the willow Mtn one. That is stellar !
