OK, so, I just visited your site. This is MUCH cooler, and very innovative if I do say so myself:

I've since replaced this with something a bit more elegant, but not as functional. I'll probably remount it when I can figure out a better location- perhaps inside, but extendable outside.

I just drilled holes and threaded the bungee through. To secure the ends, I deployed an expedition-approved, single-use, non-loosening nylon polymer unidirectional fastening device:

And here I thought you just tied a knot in the end. :sombrero:


Great idea and thanks for sharing, I think I may add a few of these to the rear interior quarter panels in my 84 Land Cruiser.
