Love the truck! Very similar setup to what I hope to eventually run on mine.
Were you able to just bolt the Adicted Offroad bumper on or did you have to modify it? Ive been looking at their plate bumper for mine and had heard that there is a difference between the double cab and access cabs in the bumper mount, but no one has been able to tell me what exactly it is and whats required to mount the AC bumper on the DC truck.

There was a crossmember that I had to weld in at the front end of the frame. The main tube bumper bolts and unbolts to that crossmember. If the bumper your talking about has same setup, should be able to modify. I like the plate bumper look better too.

Honestly, I don't do the math. Mostly because I really don't want to know, but also because I'm lucky enough to live only 1/2 mile from work. I bike or walk to work so I can save lots of $ that way. At least that's the justification I've been going with for a few years. I would say it's less than 20mpg but better than 10mpg

I did not have to adjust the crossmember, perfect fit. High quality work from ADD.

I was just curious. One of the reasons I bought my Tacoma was the reported gas mileage which of course turned out to be a complete farce- especially on ethanol. It makes me wish that I'd bought the Tundra instead and from everything I've heard, the 4.7 is an excellent engine.

Is there a chance you could post a picture of how the canvas pop up is sealed at the bottom? I didn't see any flaps in your picture that go over the sides. I'm interested how you keep water out at the bottom area of the pop up.

285/75. They do rub even with the Icons set on 2.5" of lift. I really want to tub for 35s.

Did a quick dad daughter trip up on Hardscrabble Mountain here in Eagle. Best time of the year to mountain bike and 4x4 here since the low bushes start changing color before the aspens. Now that she is 15 yo she is doing a lot more of the driving, even some of the lo-range fun stuff!















We are going out again today since it looks like another beautiful one!

That's awesome you're from Eagle! I love hardscrabble!! A lot of memories up there, brush creek/sylvan lake, and over to gypsum creek! Awesome truck man!

With dry, warm weather in Colorado up to Thanksgiving week, we spent a few days in Moab before pigging out on turkey. We had a blast with some of the easier trails. Got home and started working on a rear bumper just because wheeling in Moab is so much fun.
