Yeah; that's bright.
A little spendy though...

I bought a 2-pack of Duracell branded LED flashlights a while ago at Costco. 500 lumen, uses C batteries. $25 for the pair, including a set of batteries.
500 lumen is stupid bright. Best flashlight value I've encountered so far.

For sure that looks like a great deal. I guarantee the LED Lenser lights are in another league when it comes to build quality, features and useful zoom optics. This light is crazy bright, but your right it is NOT cheap! I try to carry some cheaper lights with me in countries like Mexico so that if I have any issues at checkpoints you can give them the cheaper lights and hold on to your expensive quality ones, that I usually keep packed away during the day.

I've been eyeing the Fenix RC40 and trying to come up with a reason of what I "need" to spend the $375.

gees $600. i stick to my streamlight brand flash lights. use them all day long at work so i know they work and last. most police carries them as well
