A few more pictures of the progress, enjoy. The skeleton is about done and the axel is on. The wheels are inside the trailer and not to the outsides, this allows the inside of the trailer to be to be wider for the bed.

pic 5 (1).png

Another shot of the frame, it lets you see the total size of the trailer.

pic 6 (1).png

This is where the spare tire will be mounted and you can see where the Maxx air fan will go. The back of the trailer is angled and will allow for access to storage under the bed from the rear.

Some more progress this shows the slide out for the kitchen, it will hold a cooler or frig and a stove top. You can see the water tank in this picture and where it will be.

pic 9 (1).png

Here is the cooler and the stove top laid in position.

pic 10 (1).png

Here is the slide out inside the trailer.

pic 11 (1).png

So on this picture you can see the pop up roof if you look closely. Above the stove and cooler there will be some shelves and storage area.

Some more progress, this is how the roof will open. If you look on the front left side behind the slide out you can see the door way and a step up at the bottom.
pic 14 (1).png

Another shot of the roof open.
pic 16 (1).png

The roof closed and you can see the door way a little better.
pic 17 (1).png

A shot of the rear of the trailer with the roof open. There are rear stabilizer jacks on the bottom. Placing the mounts for the gas cans.
pic 18 (1).png

Next is the inside, the frame is complete now.

Working on the inside now. The paneling is in and the bed frame is down.
pic 19 (1).png

A look at the other side where the entrance is to the right. There will also be a sink on the left side and storage cabinets above the slide out.
pic 20 (1).png

The frame for the sink and an access door for under the bed.
pic 21 (1).png

A look from the door to the sink area.

Finishing up with the inside, here's the sink dropped in. The floor is also complete.
pic 23 (1).png

Another view of the bed area and a little closer look at the sink.
pic 24 (1).png

Looking from the front down into the bed and the sink area.
pic 25 (1).png

The step is finished for the door way. You can see the door is attached.
pic 26 (1).png

Sink is framed out, the faucet is installed. The faucet is a hand pump and the rest of the water system is gravity fed and not electric (less that can go wrong).
pic 27 (1).png

So full disclosure this project was started in November and finished in March. We will be taking it out this weekend to Uwharrie Safari in Uwharrie National Forest. The last four builds will all be together at our camp if you are out that way and would like to see them in person stop by and see us, there's always an open chair at the camp fire. More updates next week.

Back from a great trip, the trailer worked out great, it just needs a little tweaking.

Anyway back to the build. Adding the finishing touches on the inside. A look at the bed area with the shelf installed and wiring run.
pic 29 (1).png

Finishing up on the sink and the inside cabinets for clothing and things.
pic 30 (1).png

A look at the power and wiring on the bottom left. The battery is a sealed Optima deep cycle battery that will currently power the radio on the top right, inverter, USB charging ports and LED lights inside and out. It's wired for two batteries but for right now there will only be one.

pic 33 (1).png

Another shot of the sink completed.

pic 35 (1).png

This is what is under the sink.

pic 36 (1).png

This is for the wife at night so she don't have to get out of the trailer at night. It fits under the sink and out of the way.

pic 37 (1).png

Getting ready to start to skin the outside, adding the insulation.

pic 39 (1).png

Now that the insulation is in it's time to skin the outside. The last trailer's skin was steel this one will be aluminum sourced from a company in Atlanta.

Good decision on the Ark wheel for the tongue. I love that thing.

It's a work of art, Wayne. Scott is the da Vinci of SEES.

pic 50 (1).png

pic 51 (1).png

Some shots of the finished inside.

pic 52 (1).png

pic 53 (1).png

Speakers at the head board, there is also USB charging stations at the headboard for phones or other devices.

pic 54 (1).png

There is still a few small things that need to be done, adding the awning is one of them. What do you think, hope you like the finished product.

Installed the awning, it is on a pivot arm so it moves up and forward to open it and back and down when traveling. This is it in the traveling position.

pic 55 (1).jpg

Here it is ready to open.

pic 56 (1).jpg

Another view, it covers the kitchen when open.

pic 57 (1).jpg

Here we are on the latest camping trip, on the test run of the trailer. Everything worked well, just a few minor things to tweak for the next trip.
