Man, the least shiny part of this rig now is the paint! Were you talking about Monstalining it back in the day?

Yeah but it's still sort of a really nice truck aside from the paint, may just have it repainted.

Mid term SAS report, it's really really awesome. The more i drive it the more I love it, about 10k miles logged now. I've changed a few things like the panhard rod ends are now EMF joints. Panhard rod ends wear pretty quick on a steer axle I've found so they need to be stout.
So far I've broken to D44 Spicer u joints, RCVs are in the mail. I also bent a stock pitman arm and just got a new one from WFO concepts.

Just weeks before we head out to the Sierras the truck breaks a spring, never had a spring snap like that. It'll be interesting to see what I come up with.

Lots of miles and now 37's, it just keeps getting better and better. Reworked my bumper hoops, i might cut them off again and make them an inch lower before sparkle coating the bumper to match my wiper arms and winch tackle.

Converting the rear suspension to coilovers now, it's a super tight fit and i had to get into the body quite a bit. It doesn't effect the seating or 3rd row but it's a lot more cutting than i had intended. It'll be worth it, with the stock coils out i can correct the trailing arm geometry for 6" of lift which I'm sure will make it handle even better than it does now.

New coilovers are in, the interior is back together and it feels amazing! So smooth and controlled on and off road, best of all it's nearly silent again even offroad. Makes me so happy.
However, if i had to do it again i would have left the shocks in the stock configuration and location but with raised towers and 12" Kings plus some 6" lift coils. Would have had nearly as good of results for a lot less work and money PLUS probably a little more suspension travel with the shocks at an angle. This is how I'll do Kevin's rear suspension, still need to rework the trailing arms to accommodate so much lift.

While out testing on Saturday i took my first real body damage out on the trail, i guess it was finally my turn. It'll get fixed, don't worry ?

Progress, not putting too much time into the front fender because I'm just going to replace it. Trying to get the rear quarter as nice as possible before sanding and painting, i think I'm going to armor the quarter as well.
