The White Rim Trail

Great story by Steve Casimiro on biking the White Rim Trail on The Adventure Life. I've done this ride twice, once supported by a truck and once unsupported. Either way it is an amazing ride and highly recommend it to anyone that can even remotely pedal a bike.

When I did it with a sag vehicle we spent 3 nights and 4 days on the bike. Doing it unsupported I did it in two just because of the lack of available water. Steve and I actually talked about doing it one day many years back then life got in the way me, although he ended up doing it.

Sinuhue...lets do it in one day self supported. Just let me know what weekend. Maybe ride LPS to porcupine the day after :ylsmoke: I am sure Ben would make it out as well. dan

I have had the good fortune of doing it twice, both times as a 4 day/3 night vehicle supported ride complete with Gourmet meals. Only riding 25 miles or so a day, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable trip. Doing the white rim in a day on a mountainbike unsupported would be a good challenge, but being able to go at a leisurely pace just lets you take all the beauty of the area in. Quite a few of my friends have done it in a day, most never did it twice though.
