Thetford Swivel Shower Tray

Before I call Thetford, I thought I'd ask here if anyone knows where I can get one of these here in the States - it seems it's a European (no pun intended) thing



Or better yet - what company makes this ?

I'm not sure why but Thetford is clueless. Trying to buy a cassette toilet from them in the states is almost impossible and they are made here!?! I spoke to someone at the headquarters and asked why I can buy one in England for half the price it costs here. They said that their cassette toilets are very popular in Europe but not so much in the US. Do they have a marketing dept?????? Nobody buys them here because none of their dealers even knows what a cassette toilet is. rant over, thanks.

His rant x 2. Thetford in the US is working overtime to miss the entire overland camping phenomenon.

Some enterprising UK caravan supplier would do well to take advantage of our distress. If it's the difference between nor having the parts we need and paying absurd shipping fees, some of us are going to pay the money.

Sounds like the ARB lockers story, made in Australia but cheaper for them to buy in the States, ship to Aussie and pay local duties...
