TACO to VAN is exactly the route my wife and i went this year. We R Luvin' the switch. Best wishes on the TACO sale (ours sold in two days) and van purchase (that was a bit harder! took a month to find what we wanted).

thanks acrete, I'm ready to transition. The taco has been the best vehicle I've ever owned, and that's saying a lot after 24 vehicles in 5 years.

thanks for the help everyone. For those not following my other thread, I just wanted to report that your influence is pushing me in the right direction. Just scored a d60 tonight. Now I just need a van :snorkel:

Look for the the van on craigslist or ebay i saw like 10 on craigslist florida diesels came with turbo 1995-2003 7.3 with 4r100 tranny,, and the 6.0 started in the middle 0f 2003-2009 with 5r100 tranny if you get a diesel and dont want to hassle with the tranny get 6.0 with 5r100 just get the shaft on ebay its like 150 dlls bolts right in i have bought a couple from hartparts on ebay.and for your shifter go to a yunk yard and get one from a bronco or fseries truck from 1985-1992 they work. Its a lot Cheaper than you think i have done a couple already at least here cali theres a lot of yunk yards or buy a wreck truck on copart insurance and use what you need and sell the rest theres a lot on demand for truck parts out there.REMEMBER WHEN LOOKING FOR SOME PARTS CRAIGSLIST OR EBAY AND PIRATE THEN NEW.MY CHOICES
