Throttle Body Heat Adapter

Hi All,
In the removal of my upper intake, I recently discovered that I have a Heat Adapter (MD153547). What is the purpose of this? My vehicle was sold new in NC and has been here it's whole life, so I can't see what purpose this would serve in our area.

The main issue I'm having is that I cant find this adapter in the 89 Raider parts catalog. I'm trying to get p/n for the supply & return hoses along with the clamps.
