Thule bars on a 100 series?

To the knowledge base for 100 series....

Trying to figure out how to interface thule square bars with a 100 series roof.

Any guidance here?

Reason: already have a "system" based on thule currently on my 60. Don't want to abandon that as it is very specific for my needs with much $ invested.

Thanks in advance!

After glancing at Thule's website, it appears that they recommend using the Crossroad Foot Pack 450, according to their vehicle fit guide. Is there a Thule dealer near you where you could go see/test some of the mounts in person? Otherwise it might become a custom mounting solution, which still shouldn't be too hard.

I have the crossroads on my 100. They will attach to almost any OEM roof rack, and they work well. This assumes that you have the OEM roof rack.

Yes, I am aware of those (currently use that interface on my Astro Van).

On the cruiser, that makes me nervous in that the combined system is tall. Secondly, the load will not sit directly on roof load areas (though close). Seeing how this is to be used for light expo duty, there is planned plenty of weight up there (4 jerry cans + light stuff).

I was hoping of a direct Thule interface between bars and roof load areas (stock roof removed). Sounds like a custom interface I guess:-(
