Thule bars on ZJ

Currently i have a set of 8 feet and 4 crossbars comprising the mount for my RTT, it's a larger Overland 1.8. Popular advice is 3 or better crossbars.. which i agree with.

Problem is i'll need new feet to swap this setup from my XJ to my ZJ, the ZJ has no rain gutters. However, the ZJ's roof is curved, and i dont see how it's possible to put 8 feet of the same height and end up with a flat deck to attach the RTT. The center crossbars would end up taller..

Is there an adjustable foot that would allow me to get a flat platform? What other options do i have?

Why not just attach some type of shim board to each of the end crossbars to bring them up to the same height as the middle two, it can't be to much of a difference.

Would the stock bars work in the middle and the thule on the ends?

Interesting idea, but i doubt the factory crossbars would lend any support to stop it from bowing in the center.

Point is i still need new feet/towers. I was hoping there was a solution for this that i could just find used till i do something more permanent.
