I'm a little late to the party but just found out these were recalled earlier this year. Thule is picking mine up and issuing a check for full retail price. I was going to sell it anyway, so this is actually great for me.
Just FYI to anyone else who may have one; they are poorly built and may fly off your roof on the highway. I'd suggest contacting Thule ASAP. I have a pickup scheduled within 24 hours of emailing them.
