Thuren Suspension Install Question

All,

I have quite a bit of experience working on suspension systems, but all of it in Mercedes cars.

These Rams are pretty simple beasts and I am sure I can handle the challenge but is it that expensive to have new coils, shocks and rear mini-pack installed?

My Thuren Fox 2.0 system should ship as soon as the rear shocks are finished:drool:

I just spoke to Joe @ www.ntgracing.com. It'll be $450 otd. He's got a spot on alignment guy nearby who'll do a good realignment for you too. The toe-in will be affected. Joe and Pablo have done ton's of these installs.

I think you saw my thread on installing the same components in my 2010 Ram. It is a job that can be done in your driveway with the proper tools. Personally I like to tackle these projects myself because it helps me understand my truck better and if I need to make an emergency repair I know how it works.

Ugh, I really would like to do it myself, but I may just take it to Joe. I don't have a driveway right now and I can't lift my truck any more in the underground garage at my building or I will hit the ceiling.

If the shocks come with limit straps some welding will need to be done in the front to weld the strap mount tabs on.

He installed one on his own vehicle. Give him a call. Your's requires dropping the tank. He lucked out with his '03.

yeah yeah so i heard .. you dont have to rub it in... haha i hear some folks saying its easy and some that say have someone do it.. i just dont wanna end up paying 1000 for a lifter pump after everything is said and done.. ill have to call him again tom and find what he charges.. thanks for your help..

Yeah,my '07 will require the same procedure. I'm only running 60 rwhp over stock via the Smarty and never run the tank under a 1/4 to cool the stocker. Joe's is mounted on his flatbed and can't be heard while driving.
