Tiger GT Astrovan - Illinois - $5K

Buyer beware. I would be very careful of an ad posted on the Denver Craigslist that said the vehicle is in Illinois. I know that Tiger used to be made in Colorado, so there are more Tiger fans there. But there are too many scams that copy someone else's photos, set a suspiciously low price, and ask people to post a deposit.

Also, that ad copy about the "ease" of "converting" to AWD is either woefully ignorant, intentionally misleading, or total garbage.

If you search all of CL you can find warning ads about that vehicle (full of rot, rust, moldy and torn fabric top, etc)

Currently the only Tiger GT I can find listed on CL, is this one on the preoria and quadcities, and aforementioned, denver lists. So, indications are that it's an actual Tiger for sale, not a blatant scam - but in crap condition? I love his description of the AWD gear included.

There is this one, which someone has flagged as a scam, unsurprisingly. (# 1994 tiger provan cx chevy 4x4 # - $9500 (Redding)) : http://redding.craigslist.org/rvs/4693360310.html
