Just because the belt "looked fine" isn't a good reason to postpone service-
There are other components to be concerned about.
Most likely the water pump seal (older version had a groove for FIPG) will fail before the actual belt would every break. Also every thing that has a bearing in such as the idlers could seize at any time.
I would also consider age of belt in addition to mileage.
6 years or 90K is a good general guideline to follow.
