Timing Belt Help???

It helps to answer with a quote so people know what you're asking about. Water pumps haven't been failing with regularity. Lately, the timing belt tensioners have been.

Oops my bad! I'll make sure to remember that. I think I'll just do the tensioner and crank bolt OEM then

Sorry to jump in a month late but I'm making a list and checking it twice on parts I'm going to order for the timing belt job. When it's being said to use OEM tensioner(s) is that the tensioner pulley, arm, or just the tensioner itself or is it all of the above. Better question which is the culprit guilty of failure?

I am not 100% sure but my guess would be the tensioner itself. Nonetheless, I went with OEM for both pulley and tensioner and reused the old arm, as I didn't see that as the likely failure point. Fingers crossed that was a wise call, not in the mood to dig back in there again!
