Timing belt job , 1 leftover bolt!

Ok so I did my timing belt , water pump and cam seals . I put all the bolts in little baggies labeled with what they are for . So I'm putting my timing covers on and notice that ther is a bolt leftover in the bag labeled right side timing cover. All of the bolts for the right side were small 10mm. This is a longer 12 mm . So I'm thinking I will put it aside and use it when I find a missing bolt .

Well I get everything installed and never used this bolt . So I am pissed because the only place I think this bolt would have been used is the water pump. But I don't know why the bolt would be in the bag for the timing cover right side.
Any idea where else this bolt would be missing from ? I really don't want to take everything apart again .

Ok I think I know where it goes . On the lower portion of the right side timing cover there is a 12mm bolt . It is covered by the accessory bracket so I can't put it in without removing the bracket. I think I'll just leave it off since the cover is secure behind the bracket.

in my younger days, we'd joke that after finishing a job, if we didn't have stuff left over something had to have been done wrong.

If you had an extra bolt or two leftover after working on a mid 80's American built vehicle, it probably meant you finally got rid of the extra rattle it always had.
