Over 2000 miles to OEX, backroads and by-ways....no issues with the rig....get home, drop the trailer, unload gear, off to the parts store for engine degreaser and a few odd items...pull into parts store parking lot and slip yoke gives way....

Haha, I feel ya man. Always seems to happen that way, doesn't it? About a hundred miles to MA, hit some trails, hundred miles back and my leaf spring shackle snaps as I'm turning to off the highway at my exit.

Been there, my son and I drove from TX to Moab, (towing a small utility trailer), enjoyed some great off-roading for 4 days, during which a strange clicking noise was noticed but could not be found. Drove all the way back to TX, and the next day the last of the ring gear bolts in the rear diff gave way and I had to proceed to the shop under front wheel drive. The clicking noise was each ring gear bolt in turn being chewed up after it had backed out and fell loose. Lesson learned - make sure your shop uses new bolts when changing gears
