Retuned ECU now 201HP (150kw) and 600nm at the wheels. tune is done for additional power and reliability.
Safari ARMAX snorkel

Lots of other little things and much more to do.

This is a work car as I am a builder but is getting used less for work so I will be kitting it out more for long distance solo touring. We have a few good trips coming up and will need to start preparing the vehicle for it.
will be adding a long range tank, getting and new lighter aluminium Norweld tray and a custom canopy as well as solar, additional battery power, water tanks ect. Possibility of fitting Marks4wd Portal axles also but this would be after the big trip.

I live in Melbourne, Australia and am not far from the Victorian High country and go there regularly, but am heading to Central Australia and the Simpson Desert for 3 weeks in July.

Other car is a clean original 1996 FZJ80. Got it cheap of a family friend who bought it new, if actually had it for 4 years now and done 60,000kms in it without a single issue despite it being 400,000kms old! Anyway, I plan on making it a weekender for the much much harder tracks as im not too worried about damaging it as much as the 79. Plan is LS conversion, lockers, super flex lift and 105 series 5 stud conversion so I can share wheels and tyres with the 79!
