I recently picked up a 2013 JKU 10A that needs to have the stock 265/70/17 KM2's replaced. My usage will more overlanding and rough forest roads, remote boat launches (fly fishing), etc. I have decided on the KO2's as replacements given the long highway miles that come before the off road stuff.
I have an Ursa Minor J30 on the Jeep and while stiffer springs might be an option to help with the extra weight of the top plus gear, I have no plans on lifting the rig right now.
Is there any real pro/con to going with 275/70's over the stock size? Given the stock size is already different than the normal Rubicon tire size, it seems like Jepp would have used 275's from the start if needed?
Thanks in advance.
