BFG's are addictive!
The Commercial Traction TA's have been on our desert racing car for years and years. The same set even! We have two of these spares and never use them except when I manage to peal the tire off the rim. The amazing part is that we just remount them, air them back up and get going again. I'm a big BFG fan.
Never had a flat with my at's and only had one from a nail in my mud terrains.

Now...highway ride... well... don't worry about that so much if you get bfg's.

25 years straight winning the Baja (until Robby Gordon with Nitto in '06) . . . that alone has to count for something.

I've always run BFG's on all my Toys with no problems, except the AT's don't clean so well in mud, thinking about MT's when the time comes

Tim and Kelsey get lost..
I used to slide all over the place in the rain with my mud terrains. (Non siped)
I would even slide on the road if I hit a little dirt or sand on the road and was braking.
Thats just my experience. Just like when braking suffers with larger diameter tires, you just get used to it and adapt

CA-RJ,
Where did you find the Nittos at that price?

I got them from Discount Tire on Ebay. They had a sale the week I bought them . I just looked on Ebay and they have them listed for $568 with free shipping.
