Tire size for F250

Here is my 2003 Excursion running 37's on 6" of lift:

Shouldn't have ever sold that thing.

Think about the spare tire too. Not sure about that specific year, but you should be close to being able to fit a 35" in the stock location under the bed. With 37"s you'll have to find somewhere else to put it.

Yep, spare is/can be a problem.

Biggest issue is the older leaf sprung trucks. Even 35's can cause issues.
You either limit steering or add spacers/different offset wheels, then probably need flares for full coverage.

I would stick to 35's or 315's but I would also be removing lift! No need for that much lift to clear 35's, they'll almost fit with no lift at all...

From an aesthetics stand point those 35's look small with that 6" lift. If you are sticking with that lift then I'd go with 37's, maybe consider regearing down the road?!
Brake enhancements too. The Superduty's can trash front rotors without a big load. I got the Powerstop Z-36's for my Ram. My good brakes went to outstanding ones.

I was more likely to buy a used truck with the 235/85-16 tires. I may step up to a 255 when these wear out.
I look at trucks with big tires and think they’ve had to work harder their whole life just to spin bigger meats. Very few get regeared to match the rubber.
