to warranty or not to warranty

I still count the replacement of my JK ABS module under “warranty” as the worst single customer “service” experience of my life.

Chris Farley said everything one needs to know about warranty. To paraphrase: “If you want me to poop in a box and write guaranteed on it, I’ve got time!”

30 years agp we had a new Honda Accord. One icey night it slid into the curb. We took it for an alignment just in case and fully expected to pay something. But not only was the alignment free, they replaced the cracked rim under warranty. I swear the Asian cars have the best warranty plus the best customer service.

Since then my wife has had a Toyota, another Honda plus 4 Subarus... never a bad experience.
Shes also had a Jetta and I've had an Audi.... incredible cars to drive but the worst and rudest customer service writers in the world.
Hard to believe but European auto service and warranty is worse than anything built in North America.
