Toasty
Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
Basically, unless i have to go into my actual job in the morning. I typically work on Monteros from 8:30-1:30pm and then i go do work for the government until 10:30. Once i hire a couple dudes at the shop I'll be on dayshift permanently and I don't know how or if I'll still do as much side work because I'll actually be able to spend time with my family.
I've suggesting that our fleet department subsidize Montero restoration for the community but they said no. It was worth a shot, I could do so much awesome stuff there. I just got a bunch of new tools and machines (P-50 ironworker, EVO saw, Miller XMT350, Kent 16x40 lathe and semi auto Baileigh bandsaw) for the new shop and every time I go there i think about how many Monteros I could fit in it.
So, I'll just keep working on my garage floor and fabricating things with a grinder and a little 180amp Miller. I'm slowly getting real tools at home, it's way better than what i had 10 years ago plus Ernest is letting me borrow some stuff too so that helps.
