Sinuhe,

I think you might be mistaking this board for EE or Dweb.:violent-smiley-031: Not too many people here care too much about correctness of the vehicle as much as they care about how it functions.

While I will agree with your assesment of the ExPo board, I think that people have had fun running with this thread because the seller is trying to market it as a 'replica' vehicle.

I have a replica vehicle also. It's a Lego Millenium Falcon, and I love obsessing about the wrong details even among the sanctioned Lucas versions of it.

This is the kind of thread for having fun. Now if it was a 'help me take this POS and turn it into a real ExPo truck' thread, then we'd be nit-picking stuff.

Having owned a Tomb raider addition Land rover 90. I guess it isn't as the edition was.

But Heck, The special production model was nothing like the one good old Lara Croft drove in the movie.

In some ways this Chaps replica is more like the movie version than the one that came out of load lane.

With factory standard AC/ And warn winch, And the roof protection bar's and lights. and shinny gear knobs.

Although I have posted pic's of my Lara before here she is again.

The roof lights wheels badging td5 etc were out the factory,

I added some checker plate after rolling a couple of times. but a lot was on their.

And re-built the cage, with something that helped protect.

And changed to Old man Emu, Put a performance center box on, stainless steel piping to huge garret intercooler. a garret turbo, and re-chipped the TD5. She flew.

Inside,

Home made dash, three Recaro LTW seats, Eberspaca, fridge sat nav.

Still a tooombraider, just a lot better
