Tonto National Forest seeks volunteers for Salt River clean-up

Mesa, Ariz. (July 25, 2008) – As one of the busiest recreation spots on the Tonto National Forest, the Lower Salt River Recreation Area hosts thousands of visitors every summer weekend. Unfortunately, many of these visitors leave their trash behind, creating an unsightly and dangerous mess.

Just another bump for this and we are planning on camping out after this event. Probably leaving around 1 so we can get to camp at a decent hour. Anyone who is interested is welcome to come along!

Just wanted to bump this up for this weekend and all the AZ folks. I'll be heading out Friday afternoon to do come camping and relaxing at one of the coves by Saguaro Lake. It would be great to go more off roaders out there to show support!
