Toshiba Tecra's??? Quick Opinion

Hey what's up folks. Just wanted to get some feedback on Toshiba Tecra's (I was looking at the A9 series). They are suppose to be slightly more rugged then your average laptop with a "shock absorbing hard drive" and "spill resistant keyboard".

I have been trying to figure out my laptop/carputer/gps situation for a bit of time. I really enjoy the idea of having a laptop when I go on trips! It gives me so much more flexibility and a sense of comfort, but I don't want to ruin that really expensive MacBook Pro from all the jeep bounce that I endure.

The A9 series looks like a nice machine, little big for my taste, but I've become spoiled by my Asus:

I have a thread on here somewhere talking about my testing it out as a GPS solution for my limited tripping. The GPS software that's available for Linux is a little lacking, but you can install Win XP on these as well.

Vitals:

2lbs
7in screen
built in wifi
built in webcam
8Gig solid state drive (no moving parts to get jarred)
nice solid case, I toss it in my shoulder bag all the time, and have driven around with it sitting on the dashboard with no problems...
