we are planning to return around Buenos Aires after one year on the panamerican, and are willing to sell our marvelous toyota Hiace “Cruising Cabin”.
Model : Toyota Hiace “Cruising Cabin” (camper conversion from Toyota)
Year : 1994
Engine : 3L (2880cc) diesel – average consumption on the panam : 10L/100kms (25 mpg)
2WD or 4WD with front axle lock
automatic transmission
Mileage by the end of the trip : 170 000kms – 113 300 miles
fuel tank 60L + 3 jerrycans (10L each)
lenght : 490cm
width 169cm
height 220cm Fits in standart 20' container
weight : 2700kgs
mechanic matters :
timing belt, water pump, all fluids, brake shoes + cylinders, brake pads, all filters changed at 91 000kms. We can provide full history and invoices. (since registration in the Uk)
options : power steering, electric windows, central locking, sony radio (cd, bluetooth, aux jack) good sound system, Air conditioning doesn't work (damaged pipe underneath)
Camper factory features from Toyota : big awning, Pop top roof, allow to stand in the kitchen area, or to sleep in the roof (double bed), kitchen with 2 stoves, Us 20lbs propane tank, 12V fridge, sink with running water, water tanks (10L + 23L), inside convertible from living room with central table to double bed, Uk certified for 7 persons with seat belts, plenty of storage + storage in boxes under the seats, 110amp leisure battery to power the back cabin, LED lights for roof and kitchen, porta potti chemical toilets, small ladder to get in the roof (never used, but it's there), 50w solar panel (solartec) to power leisure battery (connected to alternator as well), 150w power inverter in the back, curtains on all tinted windows + insulation mats, hidden Yale safe (can fit 2 DSLRs, 6 lenses, a 10” laptop and papers).
We leave the van with everything inside :
high quality tools, keys, jack, spare wheel, screwdrivers, heavy duty 12V compressor, foldable sandtracks, medium size darper shovel, funnel, multitester, fuses, bulbs, fuel/oil hand transfer pump, fuel filter key
mini vacuum, 2x camping stools, bin, boxes, cutlery, pan, fried pan, covers.... we will work out the full list at some point !
