Toyota Land Cruiser 70-Series Double Cab Pickup Coming?

Having spent a fair amount of time driving the new double cab 70 across Australia and Southern Africa... I can't think of a better platform and I long to have one here in the States. The Sherpa II I've been fortunate to drive as part of the Expeditions7 endeavor:

Makes you wonder why our American fullsize trucks have to be so dang bloated looking. Feel like the US vehicles
are no longer fullsize, but super sized like a fast food joint menu items.

Just love the simple non-assuming look of the 70 series.

Starting to see a few around now. Have not been out very long in Australia.

There has been quite a few 200 and 70 series wagons cut down into duel cabs over here. It was the only way to get a full size duel cab. Unless of course you wanted a Land rover.
