Traction control switch replacement

I bought a gen 3 montero limited a few weeks ago. The traction control switch is broken. I can spend $50 and almost two weeks to get a used replacement or can I just use a regular push on switch? (like the one on the link below)

How is it broken? It's not a toggle switch. You have to hold and press down on it for a few seconds until it deactivates and the light on the instrument cluster illuminates.
