In an effort to raise money to combat urgent outdoor recreation issues on public land, the nonprofit Tread Lightly! is holding a major charity auction on eBay, June 2-11.

More than 150 items have been donated from companies across the country for the cause, including a new UTV from John Deere, tents, winches, riding gear, fishing equipment, backpacks, and many other products.

“Recreation access has come to a pivotal crossroads this year,” said Tread Lightly!’s executive director Lori McCullough. “Tread Lightly! needs to grow its resources immediately to implement several education, communications and restoration initiatives designed to protect the outdoors and access.”



All products will be available via auction starting June 2, 2008. 100% of the purchase price will go to Tread Lightly!’s communications, education and restoration initiatives to help protect the great outdoors and access to them. Tread Lightly! thanks all the companies who generously donated to this important cause.



Tread Lightly! is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. It has been certified by eBay’s nonprofit arm-- MissionFish.
