Trip To White River Campground At Mt. Rainier National Park August 2010

I do prefer backcountry camping to a pay per site campground such as Mt. Rainier, but I did that last year, and I wanted to visit Mt. Rainier again.
My next trip out will more than likely be in the foothills of Mt. Rainier, the Greenwater area which has miles upon miles of area to camp for free by rivers and creeks.

I never tire of Mt. Rainier though, as I started camping there in the 90’s when my two sons were small and we had our second tent trailer.
The views of “The Mountain” as most of us call it that live in the Pacific Northwest are spectacular.

I’d like to start by apologizing because most of these pictures have already been posted in the Land Cruiser area.

But when I saw this last night, I decided that the best I could do was to post last weekend’s outing, even though it wasn´t a heroic expedition or even a great trip.

All,

So it's been a month already, it's time to vote!

First of all, I want to say how excited we are that we have seen so many excellent trip reports this month.
I obviously was unable to list all of them. We all really appreciate when people take the time to post up their pictures and stories.

Again, this is just a fun competition. We all know that all trip are greats, regardless of how many pictures you took or where you went.
However, this is a little gift that the team wants to share with their members, in appreciation of their support.

So as I had announced earlier, the winner for this month will get a Family Pass for the Overland Rally!!!

I will leave the poll open until Sept 14th as I am pretty much off the radar starting tonight. Please vote!

Problem is we don't have sub categories. Some of these trips are epic, some are weekend outings. They all look fun... and as PHXtaco said, its hard to vote for just one!
