Triple E 4x4 24ft C

I am newbie to "Portal' so thought I'd show mine. It's a '99 and I have had it going on 5 years. Conversion done by Kamloops Light Truck in BC. It's a V-10 with manual hubs and all Dana parts, bolted on. The changes I am responsible for are the Aluminess bumper, Warn 12,000 winch and a set of LightForce's. It is a tad on the stiff side, even with the Rancho's up front and Air-Ride in rear. Being a Triple E, it well insulated for a true 3 season RV, with Thermo windows and insulated tanks and lines. Cat's *** for northern BC and I have had it in the Mojave and central Ca. I keep thinking I'll run it on the beaches of Washington but so far, I have chickened out. I don't really and truly know it's abilities and I keep watching for a playmate, but so far, nada. I carry an VIAR 400P and a 20T bottle jack although I have yet to change a tire. I call my ERS for that. Now, I am looking for an Air Bag type recovery system. So far, without success. I have seen Titan mentioned but so far, I am only seeing discontinued stuff on E bay.

If anyone has any thoughts on an Air bag, I'm all ears.

I've also been looking for an air bag type lifting system to lift the truck out of mud or sand for recovery, as all other jack types will just push into the ground, this is the best one I've found so far
as it can lift 5.8 tons

I was looking at the L107G
& other models (I may weigh a bit more than you)
http://catalog.matjack.com/category/matjack-low-pressure-lifting-cushions
but they're way too expensive to justify - this one's $3143.00 !
I'll also be curious if anybody has a better option
Like you, I haven't needed to get myself out of trouble yet, until then, I have my bottle jack, blocks, full length shovel & whiskey!

Hey! You also have sand ladders bolted to the side of your rig! And that seems to me to be the best way to deal with getting stuck, maybe some extra Maxtracks with a shovel and you should be good to go.
I have heard from many sources that air bags are not a good way to go, from several people that have tried to use them eventually get rid of them due to practicality, I will see if I can find some links that reference this but my recommendation is that they are not worth the money.

Cool rig. :sombrero: That Mat Jack looks cool, but maybe not $3000 cool. ARB has a airbag jack (Bushranger X-Jack) only rated for 4400lbs...but at ~$250 you could buy 10 of them for less than one Mat Jack.
