truck flatbed storage box

I am looking to strap or bolt down a storage box on my flatbed. I know companies like weather guard and elite truck make tool boxes. This might be where I end up. looking at all options
Quite a few of the guys I know who are running the typical truck branded tool boxes say they leak & get moist after a few years. They are not any cheaper than buying a large zarges / alubox / or pelican.
The point of the box would really just be overflow storage on adventures or when I have the family / a bunch of people in the truck.
I am wondering if anyone has any experience with zarges, alucab, pelican or any of the other brands.
Thanks

zarges and Alubox in my lineup. The Zarges are the cats meow but spendy. The Alubox are great and I use them for clothes and camp chairs. Tools, recovery equipment etc. are housed in Zarges cases. I'm actively working on a mounting system that doesn't require straps tyo. be undone in order to access contents.

I have three Zarges and they are certainly waterproof. Even blasting with the hose, not just rain. Certainly pricy, but you can find them used/surplus sometime for a killer deal. A guy here on the Portal had ones that were Military surplus for drone batteries, so lots of extra high density foam inside at a killer price. Look for deals like that. They are on eBay often.

You can even modify the lids to end opening if that works better for you. I did that with one of mine.

Pelican are good boxes but will all the plastic ones you take a big hit on weight and loose a lot of internal volume for the same exterior size. I think the Portal or the Overland magazine did a great comparison test on most of the boxes, worth doing a search for.

I have Buyers under bed boxes on my flatbed Kodiak and they are waterproof (not fording, but rain, road spray). Of course being under bed gives them some protect from rain (but much more road spray. I think for the price they are a good deal.

Speaking a killer deal, since it look like you have a Bowen bed (?), you are probably familiar with their $7,000 'Garage'. If something that big works for you Buyers makes a box almost like that garage (#BP824624B) for a list of $4,000 and a good-guy internet price can be found in the $3,000 range. I have a brand new one for sale for $2,000 with an extra 10% off for Portal members. I'll make a post over in the Equipment classifieds so I don't turn your question thread into a for sale thread.

UPDATE - I did a search for the head to head test and here is what I found;
