i am working on a bed rack

simlar to this one only over the bed and not the cab

that rack is made by Jerry mcBurrney all aluminum tig welded


what do all u run for racks

That rack in the pic is way too close to the cab in my wee opinion, otherwise looks good though...

the rack in the first pic dosent even come close to the cab

Maybe not but too me in the pic it looks like there is about an inch of clearance and with frame flex offroad this might rub, must be the pic though:smilies27

no theres only and inch inch and a half. The 3rd gen toys 89-95 toys dont really have fram flex i have seen this rig twised and there is not even a scratch in the paint from the rack.

i'm gonna make my own, kinda a lumber/cargo hybrid, designed to bolt to the outside of my canopy, supported by a subframe that will sit on the bedrails, with removeable top bars front and rear. sounds like a cokamamy idea, but trust me, when it is done, it will be waaayyyy cooool! had a kargomaster rack that went over my canopy, but it was too top heavy, and thought i could make something a bit more streamlined
