The only thing I would be worried about is the security of it. It looks pretty easy to tear into and steal everything out of it.

Very true but look how many people have Canbacks. Besides put it on when
you want to camp and take it off and take off and use as a tent on the ground like on their web site. On the truck it keeps gear dry to and from the
camp site.

Saw that in a thread over in the camper section of the forum a while back.

Rather flimsy for a camper, and I know from briefly driving a jeep with the canvas sides and rooftop that the fabric is noisy at high speeds.

Plus as RU55ELL put it, easy to break into.
