Trying to upgrade Gen1 wheels...

And it's turning in to a pain in the...butt. Currently has stock rims with 235/75/15 tires. I want to upgrade to 31/1050/15 or 30/950/15, but I'm having a heck of a time verifying the offset I need. One shop told me around 18mm, an online source says it came stock with 35mm. Anyone know what offset I need, and if 31s will fit on my stock suspension without rubbing issues? I have plans to do maybe a 1" lift in the future, but not within the next 3-6 months and I need tires asap.

30x9.5's on stock Gen 2 LS wheels, they still look really small. 31x10.5's will be a lot nicer without lift.

34x11.5 Swampers fit on stock rims with no lift

Both 30x9.50 and 31x10.50 fit with stock wheels and no lift.
